Professor Dr. Karl Jurka (*1952 in Vienna) has been a strategic political consultant in Berlin and Paris since 1997. He specializes in international politics and culture and has delivered guest lectures on German and European politics at several universities. He also publishes on political lobbying. Previously, he served for ten years as an election campaign manager for the Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP), from 1980 to 1990. He studied law in Vienna and received his doctorate in 1977. He was awarded the title of Professor in 2005. Since 2020, he has served as Ambassador of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra
