Jennifer is a qualified barrister, award-winning journalist, and author who has spent over three decades working at the intersection of Westminster politics and social activism. As the co-founder and CEO of the cross-party think tank Compassion in Politics, she is a leading strategist in the movement to integrate empathy and integrity into the heart of public policy. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to ethical leadership and systemic reform. A former Home Affairs Editor at ITN and BBC broadcaster, Jennifer’s investigative work has historically influenced legal changes in the UK and informed UN war crimes investigations. Today, she directs the Compassionate Politics program at Stanford University and serves as a global speaker on democracy and transformational leadership, championing a political landscape where compassion is not a luxury, but a foundational requirement for progress.
