This session examines the new environment: from Britain's far-right AI rapper Danny Bones to the AI content farms now run by political parties, the synthetic-persona networks seeding narratives before elections, and the marketing agencies manufacturing grassroots traction to order. Drawing on cases across the UK, Germany and Ukraine and wider European research, Ned will unpack the slop paradox, the political hate economy, and what campaigns do when audiences can no longer tell real from fake.
