About this session:

Large language models have quietly become actors in the political communication landscape. They shape how issues are framed, how arguments are weighted and how decisions are pre-informed, often before an interest representative ever enters the room. In that sense, they are not neutral tools but stakeholders in their own right, with measurable influence on the perception of policy issues and the actors associated with them.

This masterclass focuses on the technical foundations that underpin this reality. Participants will gain a clear and accessible understanding of how large language models actually work, where their limitations lie and how they process and reproduce political content. No prior technical knowledge is required.
